Riches to Rags - February 13/2009

IT's FINALLY HERE!

The new issue of the key is hot off the digital presses.  It's packed full of entertaining and informative articles and other filler.  This one is too big to be sent in one email so a second email will be sent with the second half of the magazine.  We are working on different formats and would love to hear what you have to say  about out experimentation.  Send your thoughts to theliberalmedia@live.ca.
As always, we are looking for new contributors so send us whatever you've got: photography, drawings, doodles, poems, articles, short stories, ANYTHING!  This is a place for your work to be circulated so make use of it.
Finally, it is very hard to advertise an anonymously published and edited magazine so we would really appreciate if you would tell everyone who you think would be interested about our deliciously independent magazine.  You could send out a mass email if you are very ambitious.  We are also looking for someone to manage a facebook group so if you are interested then let us know.

Thank you everyone and I hope you enjoy this crispy/crunchy issue of the Key.

Funk.

First Issue, Free for the Masses

Like a streak of light, it arrives just in time!
The Jan. 13/09 issue entitled New Beginnings is now avaliable for download/print at your leisure. We're still working out the bugs with making the newsletter downloadable from this site but for now we'll just send it to you! Send us an e-mail and you'll be sent a copy of this deliciously independent paper as well as all that proceed it (released the 13th of every month.)
Hopefully this issue will provide inspiration for anyone out there looking to get involved in ANY way. The Liberal Media also appreciates any critiques (other than typos thanks) or advice you may impart. Now go, breathe, explore, open your mind!

Email submissions/ideas/comments/pick-up at theliberalmedia@live.ca

If you like what you see & read, tell your friends!

New Beginnings

The Key To The City is an online and printed monthly newsletter created by anonymous editors and contributors. We are thriving minds looking to open new windows for brains locked in dark political cellars. Our aim is to contrast the monotonous views of Joe the Plumber. Providing something else feels like a necessity because for too long there has been mindless and homogenous consumption of media that perpetuates the passive citizen. This has led to minority governments and the commodification of political ideologies. Our solution: knowledge and perspective. It is key to giving every citizen the resources needed to define their own beliefs as well as contribute to building a greater Canadian Identity.
